I tell you , Joe is my fave GM, all time, he really lives for this. I like Joe a lot and for a lot of reasons, he has the knowledge of the Sim and of Hockey, he started about the same time as I did and helped me alot on numerous occasions, still I think it would be the ultimate thing to combine with him and do the best league ever. Joe is very busy, commishing 2 leagues and beeing in many others, still he is always there when there is need to send stuff in or do anything for your league.

Marco Bokämper

Nationality : Germany

Leagues : FOIHL, HERO, OEHL

Marco is just awesome, the Canadiens crazy german is an awesome GM and has become a good friend of mine. He is doing lines almost daily and always works on his team. As the Habs are a very wanted team Marco sometimes ended up with another team, but his effort was the same, it is an honor to have Marco in all my leagues, and I am very proud of it.

Ralf Scherlinzky

Nationality : Germany

Another great german GM, another guy who helped me a lot on my work, especially when it comes to the webpages. As a GM Ralf has to be motivated at some times, but that might also be his lack of time - I know he has a hard job and kids who take their time for sure. Still Ralf is a great GM who takes his brakes every now and then. When fully motivated he sends lines and deals frequently. I like Ralf alot as he has done a lot for the german Sim family. He was the 1st german in my league. Minutes before Marco joined.

Don "Gretzer" Gretz

Nationality : Canada

Don is really great, I spend so much time with him, sharing also some personal stuff he helped me through some hard times, although maybe he doesn´t even know that. I thank you for that Don. Don is also a great GM, I saw him winning a few championships already. HE is also a tough customer when dealing. What I hate about you Don, is your question "simmed yet ?", when you know exactly I just came to work ;-)

Don is a real fave of mine, such a great guy, even tough liekRalf he takes his brakes sometimes. He is the best GM a Shark team ever had !

Matte Hansson

Nationality : Sweden

Although Matte cheers for the wrong soccer team (hehe - had to be) he is the guy I spent the most time with. Every day we discuss the leagues, the real NHL, soccer and of course his golf handicap. He really became one of my best friends, not only in sim, I guess. It is just fun to talk to him, and I know he feels good in my leagues, why, I never know, but I am happy it is so. As a GM he is tough as nails to trade with, (does Iafrate ring your bell Matte??) unless you got a good swede in return...I wouldn´t want to miss our converstions,  thanks for your support and your great help through all my problems.

Mark Hyde

Mark is a great guy, he took his time off since he has the tendence to getting adicted to the sim. However I am happy he came back, and I feel honored that he choose my league as one of the few he still is in. Sometimes I still think he takes things too seriously but after all it´s competition. Coming to be a manager, he might be really one of the best, he shuffles his team almost every day and does the pinpoint deal, when you got a league with 30 Hyde´s that would be an awesome thing.

Percy Foley

Percy is a great GM, periodically I can´t reach him, but he always sends lines and deals, still I wonder how he does, as I never get to terms with him. Percy is really in a lot of leagues so I really think it is great he is in mine - it really is nice to see a guy who comes around alot likes your league. I would love to talk to Percey more often, but since he lives on the other side of this planet it doesn´t happen as often asI would like to.

Percey was and is one of the greats out there, and with me since day 1.

Taylor Smith

Taylor has a plus as he was the first guy ever to deal me Gilmour... Now honest, I talked to a view guys when I brought him in and most did not like him too much, I also had my doubts as it was clear to see he was young and kinda rude sometimes, but thingshave changed, he got mature and is stil in my leagues, why ? Cause he is a great GM ! I really like Taylor, he is not the guy who sends you lines daily, but frequently and that is just great. I think Taylor really gets better not as a Gm but as a guy to talk to.

Drew Benson

Drew also is a great guy, and also someone I wish to talk to more often,I barely talk to him at all, all I get are his lines, which he get´s in frequently. There was a time Drew didn´t do as much as in the past, but now things look better again. His Wings page in FOIHL was always great to read, but it seems like he has not as much time as he used to have. Still, I enjoy our talks and I am glad he is in my leagues, although he isn´t as present as he used to be, he is a great GM in my mind.

Doug Roberts

I told Doug already and I tell here again, guys like Doug are the ones why I still do my leagues - he is just awesome, as a GM as a true hockey expert and as a friend, he did and still does much for the FOIHL - he is also my player agent there. Doug is the ultimate GM - He is always reachable, does his lines and his deals are already history, just look at his teams and you know what I mean, Doug, you are great - keep it up ! Thanks for all the time and support !

Joe "the Beerman" Burke

One of the crazy guys you caome along when you are in this business. Joe however is a great guy, he loves to trash talk cause he is good at it, I enjoy his writings although he doesn´t do it too often unfortunatly. His feuds with Bailey however are already history. Joe really is also a good GM, he always works on his teams and gets in lines frequently, I really enjoy talking to him and it´s great to have him in all my leagues - Joe really understands what it means to be a commish as he runs a league as well and of what I heard a second one with Joe as well. I hope Joe will keep his interest and stay as he is, a great friend !

Vladan K.

I have no clue how we too met the first time, but Vladi was great early on, he is pretty much into it and took over my old MHL league, he still runs it and does good so, every now and then we have chats, and he has become a fixture in my leagues. I like Vladi alot although he has some streaks where he isn´t as into it as he can be. Still Vladan is a good GM, no doubt and he has earned the spot in my leagues for sure.

Doug Megow

Nationality : America (Canada ??)

I think Doug is really a good guy to have in a league, sure he is not as enthusiastic as others, but he simply is one guy who is quiet. I would love him to be on the board more often or send me in some news, as I think he does a great job in my league with his team. When it comes to trading or sending lines he just is one of the best. I also never have to wait for any stuff to be sent as he does everything in time, and that makes a quality GM.

Craig Markovic

One of the guys who came into the leagues with great enthusiasm, but I had my fears this will cool down, as that normally happens, once you are too much into something. Unfortunatly that happened with Craig when he found out his Leafs are not that great, on the other  hand if you really workk with the team on a regular base you get it up, still Craig is a great guy who does more than the average guy when motivated. I hope he will be again when the new season starts, Leafs need that.

Thomas Rehm

I will not talk any personal stuff here, so let´s look as Tom as a GM. He is just one of thebest, no doubt, I know he loves this game, the NHL and all, he get´s addicted to easy unfortunatly, but for a commish that is great. He is also in a lot of leagues and still he is very present. Great in doing lines and always in for a good trade.

Larry Rice

In since day one, Larry is awesome, I would like to talk to Larry more often, but it doesn´t happen too often.He is really a great GM and can match the best ones out there, I can´t remember needing Larry to remind of anything to do, he does all he has to do in a league, and he always does in time. He is a tough customer when it comes to trading, I think I only reached a deal one time so far in 3 years and that is something considering we are together in about 5-6 leagues.

Don Krause

Don really was one of my faves on his first stint in the FOIHL - however we clashed because of a thing that wasn´t even between us, however, I was really happy to see him come back, although he could not get back the fire to run the team, in OEHL we try again, I really like Don alot, and I hope it works out better this time.Once Don is 100 % in he is just like thebest guys out there.

Neal Lawson

I know NEal from my time when I ran MHL, he became one of my faves there so I invited him to my FOIHL and OEHL, he is a great guy, even tough he is a Rangers fan, something you do not find that often in the sim world. Sure, I also spent time in NY, but still I can´t cheer for them, hehe. Neal, however is a great GM, I don´t know him that long, but I don´t think he is a guy who escapes after some weeks.

Ryan Garnett

Almost two seasons ago Ryan took over the Flyers from Brian Edwards in Foihl, and since that time this team has a good working GM. He really does it all, including looking at this page, and telling me, I left him out ;-) - Well this is no, and I repeat myself here - this is no ranking or anything, I playn to get in all my GMs or at least a majority.Also I do that personal for me and share it with you, so please dont take it too serious.Back to Ryan, it is great that he is in FOIHL as he really knows what he does, a good line sender, a smart dealer, what else do you want ? Well, maybe more activity on the message board, but it has become a problem as you see in all leagues that no more reports are on the boards, which is not really great, but well, that comes when more and more leagues open daily and GM´s playing in several of it...

"Mad" Mike Lima

As a friend, Mike Lima is just awesome - I really love talking to him. He also is the best writer in the business, with all respect to my other GM´s there is no report as funny to read as a Lima report, and since his departure (still will be in with an expansion team) the board isn´t what it used to be, Mike also wrote a column for me once, and maybe I can get him back to work for my paper. Now to his GM abilities. Acually we can´t really know since he always played with kinda weak teams, still when he has time and fun, he sends in lines frequently and deals also. The problem is always his motivation, he retired already twice (or was it 3 times ??) but as I said, he is a great pal, and I also know personal sh*t has brought him to the decision to leave once, I give him the 5 A´s simply for all te work he has done on the boards and for thenumerous times he made me laugh when reading his articles...

Steffen Ulmer

Steffen works hard with his Penguins and he does pretty well - He does deals, sends lines almost daily, and he even leaves a line for thenewspaper every now and than - I must say he was a great addition, he is not in as long as most others, but I got a good feeling about him, that he is not one of theguyswho looses fun after a season or so. Ah, yeah, one thing Steffen - the Penguins nikname is Pens - not Pengs ;-))

Why do I give him 5 A´s and not the best 6 ? - He is not in long enough...

Chris Dietrich

Nationality : America

Some time ago that Mr. Dietrich really got me going in another league, as we had major disagreements to say nicely, never did I thought at that time that he will one time join FOIHL, but since I know him better now and see that he only wants best for his team, I invited him in. I do not think he is as motivated as he was back than, ore maybe he just needs more time to work with those Rangers, but he is always reachable, and sometimes sends lines. He is not the big presence on the message board or in the paper. But I hope that changes once the new season begins.

Scott Wilson

Scott took over the B´s and he does deal, sends lines on a kinda regular base, he is like me as a GM, I think , he doesn´t do lines daily and trades sometimes, actually let´s say he changes his email addy more often than he sends lines, I think (hehe) - Still he has been in for a while and despite, I hope  I get more from him on the board or in the paper, I think he has been a good aquisition for the FOIHL. I don´t know Scott as much as others so it´s really kinda hard to judge.Maybe that changes when I know him better.

Jeff Davis

Oh yeah, Jeff and his brother Dave. No doubt, Jeff is the more active Davis out there. Numerous guys have doubted they are two guys when I brought them in, but well, I had trust in him back than and he didn´t let me down, Jeff is a good GM, he does lines, he deals and sometimes even leaves a line on the messasge board, not much, but more than some others. Sometimes you kinda have to wait for his reply when talking to him, but normally he answers. He also deals with brain, not just to make a deal. If he has a flaw, it´s his fave team, the Pens, but well...
